New Key Programming for Volkswagen Transporter, Wales

We had an interesting job recently as we were asked to assist with a 2010 Volkswagen Transporter T5. The client had lost all of the vehicle’s keys so required an auto locksmith to gain access to the van and then programme new keys. As always, MMD Auto Locksmiths were on hand to help.

The keyless van opening was achieved very quickly, and then the job got more interesting. In order to allow the EEPROM works necessary to programme new working keys for the van, our expert auto locksmith had to remove the vehicle’s entire instrument cluster. This isn’t a process that is required very often, so it was a good excuse to get our tools out and enjoy something a bit different!

With the instrument cluster removed the new key programming was completed swiftly, giving the client full access to their vehicle once again with new fully functional keys.
